TRIGA Multi-Criteria Fire/CO Detector

The TR-PHOTO-T-W, TR-FIRE-CO-W, and TR-FIRE-CO-IV are plug-in, addressable detectors that provide combined fire and carbon monoxide (CO) detection. These devices integrate four sensing technologies—smoke, CO, light/flame, and heat—to deliver enhanced sensitivity to real fire events while minimizing nuisance alarms caused by non-threatening particulates.

Advanced Fire Detection Technology

  • Photoelectric Sensors: Detect airborne particles associated with smoke
  • Thermal Sensors: Monitor heat and rate-of-rise with a 135°F (57°C) fixed temperature threshold
  • Infrared Sensors: Detect light patterns in the environment as an additional alarm indicator
  • Electrochemical CO Sensor: Provides a separate life-safety CO signal

By combining multiple sensing elements and sophisticated algorithms, these detectors reject false alarms from sources such as theater smoke or other nuisance conditions, making them ideal for environments prone to moderate to heavy nuisance particulates.
