When the discharge outlet perpendicular to the suction inlet, the pump is called End Suction pump. If the pump room size is narrow we can use an end suction pump as it requires less space to install. End Suction pump works by converting mechanical energy into hydraulic energy, using an impeller that rotates at high speeds. As the impeller rotates, it creates a centrifugal force that pushes the liquid toward the outer edges of the impeller blades, creating a low-pressure area at the center of the impeller. This low-pressure area draws in the liquid from the inlet connection and forces it out through the outlet connection. The limitation of End Suction pumps is their capacity.

Types of Threaded Fittings: Threaded fittings come in various types, including elbows, tees, couplings, unions, bushings, caps, plugs, and crosses. Each type serves a specific purpose in pipe systems.
Materials: Threaded fittings are manufactured from a variety of materials to suit different applications. Common materials include stainless steel, brass, carbon steel, PVC (polyvinyl chloride), and copper. The material choice depends on factors like the type of fluid or gas being transported, environmental conditions, and cost considerations.
Thread Standards: Threaded fittings use different thread standards, depending on the region and application. Some common thread standards include NPT (National Pipe Thread), BSP (British Standard Pipe), and Metric threads. It's crucial to use compatible threads when connecting fittings to pipes or other components.
Sealing: Proper sealing is essential to prevent leaks in threaded connections. Teflon tape (PTFE tape) or pipe dope (thread sealant) is often applied to the threads before assembly to ensure a tight seal. This helps prevent leakage of gases or fluids under pressure.
Pressure Ratings: Threaded fittings are rated for specific pressure levels. It's essential to choose fittings that are suitable for the operating pressure of your system to ensure safety and reliability.
Threaded vs. Welded Connections: Threaded fittings offer the advantage of easy installation and disassembly compared to welded connections. They are particularly useful in applications where frequent maintenance or changes are required.
Applications: Threaded fittings find applications in various industries, including plumbing, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), oil and gas, chemical processing, water treatment, and many others.
Sizes: Threaded fittings are available in a range of sizes to accommodate different pipe diameters and system requirements.
Threaded Flanges: In addition to standard threaded fittings, threaded flanges are used to connect pipes to other equipment, such as valves or pumps. Threaded flanges have a threaded bore and are bolted to the mating equipment.
Threaded Fittings Maintenance: Regular inspection and maintenance of threaded fittings are essential to ensure their integrity and prevent leaks. Over-tightening during installation should be avoided to prevent damage to the threads.
When working with threaded fittings, it's crucial to follow industry standards and best practices to ensure the reliability and safety of your piping systems. Additionally, consulting with experts or engineers who specialize in plumbing or piping systems can help ensure that you choose the right fittings for your specific needs.

Click to See DetailsFire suppression foam comprises three parts: foam concentrate, water, and air. When mixed correctly, these parts form a homogeneous foam blanket that extinguishes flames by the combined cooling mechanisms, separating the flame source from the product surface, suppressing vapors, and smothering. This makes foam suppression systems an effective option for protecting flammable and combustible liquids.
NAFFCO Pre-piped Vertical Bladder Tank is a complete self-contained proportioning system consisting of a bladder tank, ratio controller, and assembled piping. It is designed to inject foam concentrate into the water supply of a fire protection system and automatically proportions over a wide range of flow and pressures without the use of external power supply. NAFFCO Pre-piped Vertical Bladder Tank utilize water supply to pressurize the bladder and force the foam concentrate into the ratio controller. Once the system is in operation, water supply simultaneously feeds the bladder tank and ratio controller. The water applied to the outside surface of the bladder will subsequently displace the foam concentrate contained inside the bladder through the foam outlet pipe and into the metering orifice of the ratio controller. The water flowing through the ratio controller will create a low-pressure area between its inlet nozzle and to its downs stream section. The low-pressure causes the foam concentrate to flow proportionately to the water flow through the metering orifice. This ensures correct proportioning of the foam concentrate and water over a wide range of flow conditions.

Axis Safety provides upright, pendent-type sprinkler heads.
A fire sprinkler or sprinkler head is the component of a fire sprinkler system that discharges water when the effects of a fire have been detected, such as when a predetermined temperature has been exceeded.
K-factor helps to calculate the discharge rate from fire sprinkler heads. It's calculated in imperial units for the United States by using the flow in gallons per minute (gpm) and the pressure in PSI. A sprinkler with an imperial K factor of 5.6 would give a flow rate of 15.0 US gpm with a pressure drop of 7.2 psi. Alternatively, for a given flow rate through the sprinkler, the pressure loss can be calculated from the K value.
